The article is devoted to analyzing the main principles of SMS communication. Such concepts as SMS communication and SMS lexicon, the logic of SMS-neologisms formation are considered. The authors consider possibilities of using this type of modern communication in the course of teaching and offer a number of tasks with the usage of SMS lexicon on the basis of the principles of SMS communication.
