Course in the theory of translation when preparing translators in professional communications in St. Petersburg GLTU (based on the French language).The experience of the transition from the student’ Bureau of technical translation to training of translators in professional communications at the St. Petersburg State Forestry University named after SM Kirov. The basis of the training is the theory of translation at the present stage. Different approaches to the theoretical and practical aspects of translation were studied, translation of basic models, the ability to use them in the analysis of the translation process and its results.
