The requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of a bachelor's degree in management are analyzed in terms of the skills that should be developed. The authors conclude that the required leadership skills can be acquired and the leadership potential of the students majoring in management can be actualized when learning different disciplines, including foreign languages. This can be achieved by means of the activities aimed at addressing the professionally-oriented tasks when communicating in a foreign language. The “In-tray” exercise description is provided.
