Lexical system of many languages is characterized by a greater degree of tolerance to penetrating units of other languages. This is affected by both linguistic and extra-linguistic factors. Teaching foreign languages should take into account- the changing nature and composition of the lexical (terminological) system, its topicality and resilience. Teaching students the ways of borrowing terminology is a motivating working method in terms of teaching methodology and didactics.
