        <p>This article proposes to consider an atypical approach to the creation of grammatical exercises in the Russian as a foreign language, which has a certain novelty and additional training opportunities, namely, the problem of nonlinguistic, non-grammatical content of grammatical exercises in the Russian as a foreign language is analyzed. The paper analyzes the possibility of using grammatical exercises for the implementation of upbringing goals of education (in particular for the formation of foreign students a positive image of Russia), for the formation of elements of country studying and cultural competence, to remove the complexities of intercultural communication, to increase motivation to learn the language, to work with foreign language vocabulary, and concludes that all these opportunities can be realized with a certain non-linguistic, nongrammatical content of grammatical exercises in the conditions of indirect goal-setting. The author also considers the possibility of using the proposed type of exercises for independent work of students, the possibility of incidental the assimilation of new vocabulary and concludes about the positive impact of the use of grammatical exercises of this type on the success of mastering the Russian as a foreign language.</p>
