        <p>The article deals with the issues of cross-cultural discourse, pointing out the main characteristics of this notion. The article examines the interrelation of cross-cultural communication and cross-cultural discourse activity. The considerable attention is paid to the necessity of teaching cross-cultural discourse in the view of its national peculiarities and the interdisciplinary nature of this phenomenon. The article also considers the ways of using interactive techniques in the practice of teaching foreign languages in the context of crosscultural communication.</p>
