        <p>The article deals with the possibility of teaching translation in the field of professional communication to non-linguistic students as well as with the challenges of the process. The author focuses on the curriculum planning of LSP and translation courses, linguistic peculiarities of different registers. The process of teaching rendering into English has been shown by the example of a tailor-made course for the students majoring in Banking and Finance.</p>
