      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The article describes a professionally-oriented English course textbook for students majoring in management. Some elements of CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning described in the article have made it possible to develop a professionally-oriented textbook, which helps students majoring in management master content as well as language proficiency. Professionally-oriented situations stimulate students’ collaborative interaction so that they gain professional experience being in class. Various questionnaires included in the textbook help students reflect on their learning process as well as assess their level of language proficiency and evaluate their professional competence and personality. The article gives brief examples of some tasks and provides a descriptive analysis of the results of pedagogical experiments conducted. The authors emphasize the importance of CLIL in higher education.</p>
