        <p>In view of reducing classroom hours devoted to the study of disciplines in higher education, it is urgent to find methods and means of compensating the reduction of study load, in particular, lecture hours. This could include preparation and placement of electronic textbooks, lecture notes, teaching materials, as well as lectures, using multimedia technology, in the Internet. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the functions of the MS PowerPoint office program for delivering lectures to students of higher educational institutions in technical training areas, with proper examples provided.</p>
