          <artTitle lang="ENG">Features of using the distant learning format for advanced training of physicians in hematology</artTitle>
        </artTitles>
        <abstracts>
The article presents the results of the study of further training in hematology, designed with the use of distant learning technologies. Basic tendencies of continuous medical education system are discussed, with implementing distant learning technologies being one of them. It is emphasized that it cannot be replaced by extramural education, due to the peculiarities of hematology. It is pointed out that advanced training programs designed on a modular basis with the use of distance learning technologies require restructuring of the learning process, including the selection of goals, objectives, content, applied forms and teaching methods. Participants of the educational process (teachers and physicians who were studying) reported about their experience as follows. Most of the teachers faced difficulties associated with the volume of educational material, it was noted that the distance format must necessarily be combined with the full-time one. Problems of students' readiness to work with distance learning material (due to different levels of basic preparedness of students) were considered to be the most prominent difficulties. Issues of organizing not only the theoretical, but also the practical part of the course were listed as well. A large number of physicians taking the course, reported that the modular learning technology with the distance learning component allowed them to progress more successfully in their studies, and also helped them to develop such qualities as responsibility, discipline, self-activity and interest in learning. At the same time, 15% of students reported that they preferred the traditional form of advanced training, since distant learning technologies were difficult for them. In this regard it seems necessary to organize additional individual work with the students experiencing difficulties.

        </artTitles>
        <abstracts>
The article is devoted to the primary analysis of future foreign language teachers’ readiness for professional activity through the level of their professional identity identification. The study of professional teachers’ identity at this stage is associated with the need of considering the following issues in professional activity: solving problems of interpersonal communication and mutual understanding, interaction between teachers and students, the appearance of professional burnout in the work of teachers, etc. Within the framework of the theoretical review, the definition of professional identity is given with a description of its structure. The professional identity of future teachers is a multi-component concept, including cognitive, motivational and value components. The process of professional identity formation is complex and goes through four stages: those of pre-professional development, search and choice of profession, vocational training, and independent work. Even though the training of foreign language teachers includes pedagogical practice, that is often not enough. In addition to teaching and mastering their subject, they have to resolve many more difficult cases, which may appear as a surprise to many young professionals. Insufficient formation of professional identity can cause a number of problems in pedagogical practice. Identification of the readiness level of the first-year undergraduates in the pedagogical direction of preparation for the future professional activity was carried out drawing on a questionnaire, including questions reflecting the cognitive, motivational and value aspects of the teacher's professional identity. Drawing on the results of the survey, a conclusion was made on the degree of professional identity formation among young students – future teachers.
