High school students’ informational-communicational competences

The author investigates the concept and the characteristics of informational competence. The necessity and the particularities of its development in high school are pointed out. The abilities, 158 skills and high school students’ activities are paid special attention to in the article. The practical application of skills and knowledge is also emphasized. The author examines the informational competence development dynamics and lists the methods used in high school.
