Motivation as the basic principle of activation of language learning process in university

This article is dedicated to the problem of making foreign language learning process at Universities more active. Development of student motivation is considered to be the main mechanism of this process. The most important and effective methods and techniques that enhance students’ interest in learning foreign languages are listed and described.
