Abstract:

The author considers the scientific speech as a type of intercultural communication, its characteristics and its formation in students of technical universities. In the teaching methods development and the teaching process such features of scientific style as a generalization, consistency, precision, austereness and monosemanticity, single meaning of statements should be taken into account by the instructor and taught to students. In order to ensure best results, the author suggests that general scientific texts be used at first stage of training and highly specialized texts in the second one.
