The author emphasizes the international status of the English language and the necessity of its acquisition for effective business communication. Different means of the development of speaking and writing skills in business communication at Economics and Management faculties are brought into focus. Such methods as written and verbal annotation (or “rendering”) of authentic texts together with their aims, objectives and particularities are scrutinized.
