Occupational activities on foreign language teaching as a means of a teacher’s linguistic competence advancement

The study identifies the problem of a teacher’s linguistic competence advancement through occupational activities on foreign language teaching. This research involves discovering factors which influence the degree of the teacher’s linguistic competence advancement. Based on the poll results the author highlights that teacher’s linguistic competence develops when he/she uses in practice what he learned during linguistics and liberal arts classes at University and prepares for his classes as a foreign language teacher.
