Teaching functional language to facilitate interlingual communication for work-related purposes

The article highlights and justifies the importance of using the functional language when a jobholder is trying to utilize their interlingual communication skills for work-related purposes. It also provides the set of time-tested classroom assignments to develop these skills no matter if the English language is a students’ major, minor or a just a pre-requisite.
