The evolution of the concept «Bilingual education model»

The main content of this research is the analysis of the concept of «bilingualism «and in particular the characteristics of bilingual education in Europe, Africa, Asia and Russia. It is noted that this phenomenon has a long history. The features of the application of bilingual method in learning foreign languages are singled out and described. Through comparative analysis of modern pedagogical literature, the author identifies a number of aspects of bilingualism, revealing the peculiarities of this model of teaching at a modern period.
