Stages of conceptual content development in the field of education informatization

This paper addresses the issue of the genesis and variability of the conceptual content of education informatization terms. The author analyses the main terms in the field of education informatization, proposes the definitions of foreign language teachers' ICT competence, and defines the place of ICT competence in relation to methodological competence, information competence and computer literacy.
