On the problem of understanding scientific article content in training oral scientific speech culture in technical university students

The article examines aspects relating to building technical university students’ oral presentation skills and scientific exchange messages. Course paper and degree work on the discipline "The Russian language and the culture of speech" are used as the materials for the study. The role of the authentic scientific texts relating to the students’ major in the development of their communicative competence is examined. Methodological aspects of the problem, methods of term semantization and additional relationships in the language system are also considered.
