Educational techniques in the context of developing cross-cultural competence (on the basis of case-study techniques)

In the article the principles and effectiveness of a case study as educational technology for cross-cultural competence are considered. The authors analyse its basic goals, objectives and didactic principles and present modern classification of cases in the context of learning intercultural communication. Also the main stages of the technology’s application for the formation of students’ skills are highlighted.
