INTONATION OF EXCLAMATORY STATEMENTS AS SUBJECT IN THE CONTEXT OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The article addresses the issue of teaching foreign students the intonation of exclamatory statements in Russian. It identifies and describes the distinctive features of the established methodological tradition that determines the order of studying intonation in the context of Russian as a foreign language. It also analyses the implementation of the existing concept of teaching Russian intonation on the material of nationally oriented textbooks and teaching aids. The principal focus of the study is to propose an algorithm for teaching foreign students to intonate exclamatory utterances in Russian speech. The article presents a review of the existing methods and technologies for teaching intonation, which can assist in the acquisition of the Russian exclamatory constructions by a foreign audience. It also includes a series of examples of tasks and exercises which have the potential to enhance the effectiveness of foreign learners in mastering the intonation system of the Russian language.
