This article is dedicated to statistic analysis of students' progress in English and as a result there are some conditions which help students to improve their language skills. The entering test, which was held in September 2013 in the Institution of informational technologies and management and Institution of physics, nanotechnologies and telecommunications, and also the school grades were the source of the research.
