Development of on-line guiding course in the learning management system (LMS) MOODLE

The paper considers issues of organizing distance courses on different on-line platforms. Special attention is paid to organizing discussions and other communicative tasks in on-line courses. The analysis revealed that the courses share a number of features which can be integrated in compulsory university on-line courses whose structure must meet rather tough distance education package requirements. The authors describe their experience in the development of an on-line course on training guides for off-campus master level students.
