Abstract:

The paper is devoted to the analysis of genesis of tasks and content of communicative and ethnographic approach to teaching a foreign language and culture. The author describes the beginning of the approach and its initial tasks, which were in 1990-s, and discusses modern tasks and content 25 years later.
