Forming language competence by studying foreign language songs via tutorship (language high school, teaching English)

Forming foreign language competence of linguistic students by studying English songs was analyzed. The experience of applying songs in class was considered and a trial experiment was conducted. It illustrated that applying tutorship in working with songs is conducive to developing foreign language competence by improving phonetic, lexical and listening comprehension skills.
