Teaching students of non-linguistic departments vocabulary at the English language lessons

The article deals with the approaches to the studying of new English vocabulary by the students of non-linguistic departments in Karazin Kharkiv national University. The methods of the work with new lexical units in general use are analyzed. The work with the vocabulary for specific purpose at the level of words, word combinations and the text is considered. Attention is focused on the automation of self-usage of the terms in dialogues.
