Continuous training of the university teaching staff for use of information and communication technologies

The article deals with the problems of improving the competence of teachers in higher education in the field of information and communication technologies in professional work in the conditions of global society network communications. The article clarifies the concept of "teacher’s information culture", describes some of the approaches to the development of continuous teacher training system of higher education in the field of information and communication technologies based on the idea of integration of formal, non-formal and informal education.
