A VALUE-BASED TEACHING TECHNOLOGY IN PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY: THEORY AND PRACTICE
The article concerns the use of methodological tools at a pedagogical university using the example of value-based learning technology. The problem of value education highlighted in the article shows that the fundamental direction in the formation of a value-active students’ personality of a pedagogical university, capable of assigning values, is the axiological activation of learning. The conceptual basis of the technology is revealed, the content of which considers the value approach to teaching; the substantive basis of technology, which represents the value content of pedagogical education and the procedural basis of the technology, characterized by the creation of a value-oriented educational lesson. Recommendations are presented for conducting value-oriented training sessions in the discipline «Theory and Methods of Teaching Geography» for students studying in the field of «Pedagogical Education». General conclusions are formulated regarding the main features of the use of value-based learning technology in the work practice of a teacher at a pedagogical university.
